About Keep Ahead

Keep Ahead tuition a specialised provider of Maths tuition in Hayes, Middlesex. The tutoring offered is specifically designed to complement school education and target areas within the National Curriculum Syllabus which students require assistance with.

Unlike traditional Group Tuition providers, Keep Ahead prides itself on being a Group Tuition provider that splits the lesson time into:

1.Combined learning session for all students

2.Tailored learning session for each individual student

It is imperative that the learning needs for each student are catered for during each session, for the simple reason that a group of students will all have varying requirements, be it due to the natural difference in examination boards or topics that and an individual could do with some help on. Keep Ahead believe it is equally beneficial for students to participate in a group learning environment where classroom interaction and discussions on the different topics promote confidence and increase a student’s breadth of knowledge within different subject areas.

Naturally, a significant amount of planning & effort is required to teach sessions that strike a good balance between Group Learning and One to One Learning, it is for that reason that Keep Ahead aims to maintain the class sizes to a level which offers a good classroom learning environment but at the same time allows the tutor to understand individual learning requirements to enhance the tailored segment of the lesson.

Homework

As the tuition is designed to complement school education, homework will set at the end of each session. The type & amount of homework given will take into account the homework set by the schools but at the same time ensure that that the concepts taught during the tuition lesson are reviewed & reinforced. This will also allow Keep Ahead to provide parents with a progress report of learning outcomes.

Learning Environment

Keep Ahead is of the opinion that the physical environment also plays a role in an individuals motivation to learn. Botwell Green Library in Hayes has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment. Keep Ahead has chosen to base it’s tuition centre in one of the rooms within the library, which is equipped with a range of modern facilities that provide an ideal learning environment.
